We enjoy going to The Farmstead every year to pick out our pumpkins. When I was an undergraduate student I attended California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. I studied Animal Science for three years before I change my major to Food Marketing/Agribusiness Management. Every year we would help with the Annual Pumpkin Festival.
It was a blast for all the students in the Agriculture department to help at this large event.
It served as the major fundraiser for student organizations each year. I think this where my love for all things pumpkin started. Well maybe it started earlier in life with my love for Halloween as a child.
We were excited to see The Farmstead holding a Dog Day this year!
