This year we will have Gregory Castle, co-founder and CEO of Best Friends Animal Society as our special guest speaker. Gregory’s efforts have fundamentally changed the state of animal welfare in all of Utah, which is currently on a trajectory to become a No Kill State by 2019. Best Friends Animal Society is a leader in the no-kill movement, runs the largest sanctuary for homeless pets and is one of the nation’ s largest animal rescue organizations.
In addition, we will have a live and silent auction, live music by Blaze and Kelly, a no host bar, and of course a deluxe spaghetti dinner (with or without meatballs) and a dessert dash.

Gregory Castle is a recognized leader in animal welfare and a voice of reason and reconciliation among grassroots rescue groups, animal shelters and national animal organizations. Gregory is responsible for the creation what became No Kill Utah – a coalition of animal welfare and rescue organizations, animal control officers, veterinarians, schools and animal lovers collaborating to deliver aggressive spay/neuter, adoption and public awareness programs for the state’s homeless pets.
