Do You Know About Dog Parks In Boise, Idaho?
Dog Parks In/Around Boise, Idaho
If you are like us we love being able to take our fur babies to socialize at Dog Parks. It is important to take into account the unique needs your pet have to find the right fit.
Three Things to Remember before going to the Dog Park:
1.) It would be a good idea to make sure your dogs are current on vaccinations and healthy before socializing them with other dogs. Keep in mind you don’t always know if the other dogs are healthy, aggressive or current on shots.
2.) It is very important to always watch your dog interact with others. PLEASE be responsible and clean up after your pet. Most parks have baggies for waste put bring a few just in case. We always leave a bunch in our vehicles.
We have encountered numerous owners who don’t pay attention to their dog’s behavior. Numerous times we have had to leave because other people’s dogs were showing signs of aggression.
3.) Bring Clean Drinking Water as your pups will need it after running around
Dog Parks are a great resource in the community for dogs to interact with other humans and dogs.
It is said a good role of thumb to social a dog is to have your puppy meet 100 people within the first 100 days of life. Just make sure you get the green light from your vet to introduce your puppy to other dogs.
Do you have a little dog? Does your dog love water? Does your dog get along with everyone?
Every park is unique so take a look at some of the local parks.
