I have had the Take Me Home Tonight, Eddie Money song, stuck in my head all day thinking of this sweet pup. He needs a home of his own with a person or family to give him the attention he needs. He is three years old and a ball of energy.
We have a 3 year old super friendly and affectionate Chocolate Lab/German Pointer mix. We adopted him from a “Foster Family”. We realized we can’t have him because our cats don’t like his enthusiasm ;- and high energy. The “Foster Parents” said we could bring him back and we “wouldn’t have to pay for the euthanasia.” o_OMy wife and I were in shock that they would even say that. We have an 8 month old daughter and the dog is great around her and is friendly towards cats (except our cats don’t like the dog and won’t come down). He’s obviously been trained but needs a bit of a refresher course. He sits, shakes hands, fetches, lies down, and stays – but 90% with a treat incentive. I know this dog is trainable even more and is a great companion for a family with more time and older kids than we do. The cost to you would be a small rehoming fee and we’ll throw in all the dog food. He’s very excited when I walk through the door and LOVES TO PLAY!!! He’s neutered for sure. Not sure about vaccinations but Northwest Pets offers GREAT deals I heard once a month.
